What a good brief includes
- The platforms and the engine, or a note that you have not chosen one.
- What a first playable version must include, and what can wait.
- What exists already: a design document, art, code or nothing.

About Game Development
Building the game itself: a mobile or PC game in Unity, Unreal or Godot, from a playable prototype to the store release and the updates after. Say whether you need the whole game or a team to join yours, since the two are priced very differently.
Should we start with a prototype?
For a new game, usually. A short playable version tests the idea before the art and the levels are paid for, and makes the full build easier to price.
Which engine should we use?
Unity and Godot suit most mobile and 2D games, and Unreal suits high end 3D. If you have no preference, say so, and ask providers to explain their choice in the proposal.
