How hiring works

  1. Post the job. It is free.
  2. Agencies and freelancers send you prices
  3. Pick one. They get paid when you approve.

What a good brief includes

  • The printer's specification, if you have one, and the material.
  • Quantities, sizes and any regulatory text that must appear.
  • Whether you need Arabic on pack, and how much space it takes.

Questions about this area

About Print & Packaging

Design that has to survive a printer: dielines, bleed, spot colours and the label text your category requires. The difference between print and screen work is the file at the end, and a printer will tell you quickly if it is wrong.

Will the file be ready for our printer?

Ask the printer for their specification first and share it in the project. Most reprints come from a file prepared without it.

Is Arabic label text included?

Only if you ask. Packaging sold in the UAE often needs Arabic, and fitting it changes the layout, so raise it before the design is finished.
